St. Michael’s Parish Council Minutes

July 9, 2007

Opening Prayer: Led by Father Jack

Roll Call: Father Jack, Marty Gorkow, Gary Butz, Linda Frese, Gary Boddicker, Anne Frese, Kelly Schulte, Bruce Volz

Absent: Doug Brecht, Pam Towe, Cathy Maile, Diane Bails.

Introductions: Father Jack asked each council member to introduce themselves and give a short history of their family etc. Father Jack explained the process he would like to address any issues that may arise. Council job assignments will be assigned at the next meeting.

Board of Education:

Building and Grounds: Gary Butz mentioned that there were a few issues and concerns that needed attention. Father suggested that Gary form a committee to list and prioritize any repairs, updates, etc, and present them to the council for discussuion. The carpet in the Parish Center will be cleaned on Monday the 16^th of July. Gary Boddicker mentioned that the Nativity set figureens are in need of replacement.

Other: Linda Frese asked if there had been any progress in the development of the Rental Contract for the use of the Parish Center.

Gary Butz asked what the protocol for the scheduling the use of the Parish Center.
