A. Opening Prayer - Group Prayer
B. Roll Call - members present: Fr. Birch, Sue Ehrman, Josh Breja, Cheryl Atwood, Pat Angerman. Cluster Council members: Barb Manternach, Dawn Tiedemann. Members absent: Cyndi Andrew, Peggy Epping, Ed Epping. Staff member present: Dianne Pickart

D. Old Business
1. Fund
raiser - November Bake Sale will be held November 19 following the 8:00 am Mass in the basement. Anything that anyone loves to bake
is welcome for this bake sale. Cinnamon rolls, coffee and juice will
be served during the bake sale. Everyone can bring their baked goods down to
the basement before
2. Peggy and Dawn have a few ideas for fund raisers and social activities for each month during the year. Some will be free will and others will have a cost per person. They will be getting in touch with members to start planning the activities.
E. New Business
1. New Mass
Schedule - A proposed Mass schedule submitted by Patrice Strellner
was given to the members. Unless a special meeting is called, the Cluster
Council will decide the Mass schedule for 2007 at the November 14th meeting in
Newhall at
Information regarding the 2006 October Queen of Saints Cluster Count and other statistics was given to the council members to review.
2. Job Description Committee - Cheryl reported a Pastoral position for the Cluster is being considered and job descriptions for the staff have been worked on.
F. Committee Reports
1. Spiritual Growth and Liturgy Committee - Pat reported that the Light Way Bible Study went well. A bible study about the rosary and the mysteries has started.
2. Education/ Youth - No report
3. Finance and Administration - Josh reported everything looks good.
4. Social Concerns: Sue reported the school supplies project was a success. Children that needed the supplies received them. A Miscellaneous Household and Fall/Winter Clothing Drive will run Oct 28 - Nov 12. Christmas Baskets will be made in December.
5. Deanery Representative - No report
6. Building and Grounds - Fr. Birch asked if a light bulb could be checked in the stairwell by the sacristy. Josh explained the insurance company has requested new outlets in the kitchen to follow code. Eight or nine new outlets need to be replaced. Rabes Hardware has given a rough quote of $120.00 per outlet that includes the outlets and other details to install them.
7. Parish Life - No report
G. Pastor's comments - Fr. Birch said a winter activity is being discussed for the Cluster. He added that anything can be put in the Cluster newsletter such as kids doing something good, fundraiser activities etc. People just need to contact their parish newsletter representative. Fr. Birch said it is a good idea to put things in the bulletin for at least 2 weeks. Communication helps us be proactive.
