Father would like to make it special. Maybe small loaves of bread to bless and send with people. Would like music with a choir from all 5 parishes. Involve all 5 parishes in liturgical roles. Invite people to bring something from your Thanksgiving meal to set on table in front to be blessed. Peggy will talk to Debbie Thorman about decorations. Betty Nolan will help her. Father will cover readings and Prayers of the Faithful. Father will put in Bulletin asking for volunteers for lectors, Eucharistic ministers, etc.  Peggy will check with Hy-Vee about bread.

V.                 Mass

Father would like the Responsorial Psalm for the day used at Mass.  If something is changed, Father would like it practiced before Mass.  If a song we haven’t sung for awhile or a new song, Father likes to practice before Mass. New songs are welcome. Father would like to make sure we sing songs that the congregation can participate with. Singing more than 2 verses is welcome.  Father would like the Lord’s Prayer sung once in a while like maybe at Christmas.  If possible, let Father know ahead of time what will be sung at Mass.

VI.              Anointing of the Sick

Last weekend of October and the first weekend of November, people will be blessed.  Have them sit at the end of the pews.

VII.           Christmas

Father is willing to say 5 Masses for Christmas so each Church can have one. Would like a Children’s Mass at 4:00 pm with preschool to 2nd graders process in with Father and sit up on the floor during Mass.  Use the readings for Mass with children.
